By accessing or using fake.legal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.

Description of Service

fake.legal provides free, anonymous temporary email addresses ("temp mail") that allow users to receive emails without revealing their personal email address. The Service includes:

• Generation of disposable email addresses
• Temporary inbox for receiving emails
• Multi-inbox support for managing multiple addresses
• Smart domain rotation for improved deliverability
• Public API for developers (see API Documentation)

Temporary email addresses and their contents are automatically deleted after a set period. We do not guarantee the availability or persistence of any email or inbox.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use the Service to send spam, phishing emails, or malicious content
• Use the Service for illegal activities, fraud, or identity theft
• Attempt to abuse, overload, or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
• Use automated tools to mass-create inboxes beyond reasonable use
• Use the Service to circumvent bans or restrictions on other platforms in a way that violates those platforms' terms
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code through the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms without prior notice.

Privacy & Data

Your privacy is fundamental to our service. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we handle your data.

In summary:

• We do not require registration or personal information to use the Service
• Emails received in temporary inboxes are automatically deleted after expiration
• We do not sell or share user data with third parties
• We use minimal analytics to improve the Service
• We use Google AdSense to display advertisements, which may use cookies

API Usage

Our public API is provided free of charge for reasonable use. By using the API, you agree to:

• Respect rate limits (documented in the API docs)
• Not use the API for spamming, scraping, or abusive purposes
• Include proper attribution when building applications on top of our API
• Accept that API availability is provided "as is" without guaranteed uptime

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• No guarantee of availability: We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
• No guarantee of email delivery: Some senders may block temporary email domains
• No warranty of data persistence: Emails and inboxes may be deleted at any time
• No liability for content: We are not responsible for the content of emails received through the Service

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, fake.legal and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from the use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (which, for a free service, is zero).

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Germany.
